Working with Enterprise 6

Buttons palette

The Enterprise 6 Buttons Palette appears on the top left of the screen. It is your ‘Control Panel’, with a series of standard options. You should find the options themselves pretty self-explanatory. You will notice, however that the options available vary, dependent on the context in which you are currently operating.

As with all palettes, the Buttons Palette can be moved by dragging with the mouse while holding down the <Command> and <Control> keys (Macintosh only). Should you require an instant reminder of the role of a button, hold the mouse over the button without clicking for a few seconds and text will appear showing the button’s name. The General Preference, Palette Help Delay, can be used control the time gap between moving the mouse over a button and the appearance of the help message.
