Creating reports

Quick report generator

One of the most important tasks in data management is the generation of reports. While most of the reports that you are likely to need have been built into Enterprise 6 in the Reports menus, the custom report generator lets you design and print your own reports if required.

Using the custom report generator you ca

  1. produce lists of records
  2. create break areas
  3. use fonts and styles in the report
If you are currently viewing a selection of records on screen using one of the ‘View’ functions, then the report generator produces reports either from the current selection of records or from the highlighted selection of the listing. It is called up using the [Report] button on the palette.
