One of the most important tasks in data management is the generation of reports. While most of the reports that you are likely to need have been built into Enterprise 6 in the Reports menus, the custom report generator lets you design and print your own reports if required.
Using the custom report generator you ca
- produce lists of records
- create break areas
- use fonts and styles in the report
When you create a custom report, you can specify:
- columns that display fields or formulae from the current file
- a sort order
- break levels
- summary calculations
- text for labels
- formats for numeric data
- font, font size, style and justification for labels, summary calculations and data
- page headers and footers
- on the standard printer selected in the Chooser
- on a serial printer
- to disk
- to a graph
