(a built-in Enterprise 6 Report)
You will ideally need a printer for this section. Make sure that it is connected up correctly, switched on, loaded with paper, and has been selected. If you are not connected to a printer, make sure that you have a suitable printer driver available and chosen. If are unsure how to do any of this, contact your Administrator, or consult the instructions that came with the printer.
You are now accumulating more and more information, and organising it using Enterprise 6. Apple Pie Trading have made some good contacts, and are beginning to win orders!
But you are not in the office all the time. There are times when you might need information, but you won't have access to a computer and Enterprise 6. No problem! Enterprise 6 has a Communications volume, which features a sophisticated upload/download capability.
Another solution is provided by the many built-in reports that allow you to format and print out information from the system. One such report is the Address Book, which is an alphabetical list of companies and Contacts that are in the database. We will use many more reports later.
Choose 'Address Book' from the Reports section of the companies menu (in most volumes). You will see a Quick Search dialogue, similar to the one used by 'View companies'. This allows you to choose which companies you wish to include in the address book - if you press [More Choices], the full search is available. If you wish to include them all (as in this case), leave the dialogue blank and press [Find].
A list of chosen companies then appears, so that you can just check that all the ones you want are there.
All Enterprise 6 reports and List functions operate on the same principle. Because you have selected a Report or a List function (as opposed to a View function), Enterprise 6 assumes you will want a printed report. Therefore, Enterprise 6 will first ask you to make a selection. You accept the selection by pressing [Accept]. In other words you are saying, "This selection is ok. Now, please follow my original instruction and print it." Therefore, there is no Print button. Click [Accept] to move on, or hit the <Enter> key.
You will get a separate page per letter of the alphabet.
