List products

List products prints out all or selected products as entered, showing the Group, Brand, Model, Name, Sales Price and optionally the Supplier details and Cost Prices.

You are first asked to select the products required, as for ‘View products’ above.

Pressing [More Choices] will present you with the Comprehensive Search choices, as for ‘View products’ above.

The selected products are displayed in a list for you to check before printing. Once the list is to your satisfaction, click [√] to go on to the printing stage. Before the Print Settings appear, you will be asked if you wish to print the Supplier details. The report is set up to sort and subtotal the products by Group and Brand, but you may choose alternative sort orders at the listing stage.

Price list

The Price list prints out all or selected products in a report for internal or external distribution.

You are first asked to select the products required. This procedure is as for View products above, except that the Quick Search dialogue is not used. Instead, the Comprehensive Search (More Choices) dialogue is brought up straightaway. An assumption is made for you - that you only want to select those products which you specified were to be included in the Price List - this assumption can be overridden if required.

The selected products are displayed in a list for you to check. Click [√] when you’re happy with the list and are ready to print it. You are then offered some options for the printing.

First, specify a date that you would like the system to compare with the Last Modified Date of each product - if the product has been more recently modified it will put a • Bullet beside each one. You may also specify whether to print Standard as well as Actual Sales Prices, and if so, whether to only print those that actually have an Standard Price. There is also the option to print the Margin % as part of the product Code. Press [OK] when you are ready, and then confirm the Print Settings.

The Price List consists of a title page, a comments page, a page listing the product Groups appearing in the Price List and finally the Price List Items. The comments page is user-definable. A special product Group 0 (zero) is used for this purpose. It can be modified using the Groups item in the products section of the Core menu in the Data Manager. The Group Name is used as the title of the Price List, while the text that appears on the front page is entered to the Comments box. This text could be a comment about the Price List or a disclaimer. You are free to modify this text to your requirements, but remember that Group 0 cannot be part of your Group structure.
