If Entering Companies and typing a Postcode into the initial duplicate-checking dialogue box, Enterprise will refer to the QuickAddress data files when you [OK] the window, and the address results will appear in the full Companies entry screen. The Postcode field in the Company record can also of course be modified, resulting in further reference to the QuickAddress data files, but note that, if you have used a valid Postcode, this will probably result in the overwriting of any existing address data. If a Postcode is not valid you will be given a report (fed in from QuickAddress) suggesting possible errors.
