It is also possible to record a new Enquiry direct from the EnquiryWriter menu. Simply choose ‘Enter Enquiries’ from the EnquiryWriter menu. Enterprise 6 will present you with a new Enquiry screen. However, as this Enquiry was not originated in the Diary, the Company and Contact fields are empty - they are completed just as in the Diary screen.
NOTE. Using the latter method of recording a new Enquiry does not automatically create a Diary entry, although selecting ‘View Enquiries, Qtns, Orders’ from the View menu on the Company or Diary screens will list it.
We recommend you spend some time getting proficient with this method, because it is likely to stand you in very good stead for your future use of Enterprise 6. The ‘Add Product Items’ item on the Functions menu is used in the same fashion in many places throughout Enterprise 6.
